Having to move the Night Sky Observer and its associated sites, like the Telescope Guide to a new webhosting company proved to be more problematical than anticipated.
While the main sites were moved at the end of last month, there were some subdomains that had to be moved as well.
All this was compounded by there being a problem on the webserver they were moved to. I had found that page load times were excessively long on some occasions and flagged this to the hosting company. They finally tracked the problem down over the weekend and moved everything for me to a new server on Monday.
The site is now running fine and page load times are much faster than they were when they were hosted with my original webhost.
Given the complexity of the move, it is possible that some aspects of the site are not working, so if you come across a broken area, I’d appreciate it if you’d let me know.
