Binoculars Usa

Binoculars Usa

If the USA goes to war with North Korea, will Great Britain help?

i've just seen on the news, Hillary Clinton looking through binoculars at the boarder of North Korea, that's a pretty strong message to send. With rising tension, would we help our allie? Surely we wouldn't leave America to fight a 1 million man army alone. How likely is it that if America declared war, would we help them out? Is that why david Cameron as announced a withdrawal of British troop in Afghanistan next year, and handing it over to the Afghan army? Is it also why we are building two new super carriers and new submarines?

Not a travel question.

And - it's not going to happen.

Series Wide Field

Series Wide Field

What order should these go in?

I'm writing a sci-fi series and the accompanying encyclopedia (to explain virtually any and everything in the series). In it a wide variety of different technologies are used and portrayed. I was curious as to which order people thought these should be in (they are in order from least to most advanced)

The order of these three is set:
Fission
Fusion
Matter/Antimatter

It is the order of following four that I am debating on:
Singularity (a black hole)
DMR (Dark Matter Reactor)
Dark Energy Siphon
ZPE/ZPF (Zero-Point Energy/Field)

The order of these final two is set:
Dimensional Tap
Membrane Harness

Opinions? Reasoning? How should the complete list look?

Singularity
DMR
Dark Energy siphon
ZPE

Well singularity is a well known term and the others are not so I would put it first. We would likely be able to build a reactor before a siphon so reactor before siphon and ZPE seems currently way out of reach.

Traveling With A Digital Camera - What Do I Need To Know?

When traveling it is not as easy as with a conventional camera with a roll or two of film. A digital camera has a fixed storage capacity and we can only add to it by buying expensive flash memory cards. To compensate for this, it therefore makes sense to carry a notebook computer - if we have one-and transfer the pictures to it periodically to free the badly needed camera memory.

We can also preview the pictures and decide if we want to want to erase them, e-mail them, or post them on the web. If our notebook computer has a CD writer then we can transfer the images to a CD. We can even carry a small printer and print the images, or have them printed at a shop that provides this service.

If we do not want to carry a notebook, the images can be transferred directly to a portable hard drive. This battery-powered, palm-sized device may come with or without a monitor. Or we can also transfer pictures to a Clik! drive, which is a portable storage device, powered by a rechargeable battery.

Once the images have been transferred to the Clik! drive, we can free up space on our flash memory card by erasing the images. When a Clik! disc gets filled we can replace it with another one, which may cost $10. Once we return from the trip, we can transfer the images to our computer. If a person is planning on a lot of traveling with a digital camera, this would be the way to go.

Electricity and power are not the same in different areas of the world and there will be many ways to compensate for it. In the US, the power supply is 110 volts and 60 Hz, whereas when you travel overseas, the voltage may be 220 volts and 50 Hz. The wall outlets may also be different. We will need an adapter kit, to plug in our notebook computer, AC adapter, or battery charger.

A transformer is suitable for use with electronic devices. A converter can be used with electrical appliances like hair driers. It can harm devices over time and should not be used for more than a few hours. Transformers can be used for longer periods, though they tend to be heavier.

When traveling, if a modem will be needed we would need to find out about the type of adapters that are used in the country where we are going. While hiking, canoeing, or sailing, we will need a solar-powered battery charger, to recharge our batteries.

The digital camera, laptop computer, flash cards, audio and video tapes, floppy discs and films will remain unharmed by the X-ray machines installed at airports. However, a metal detector may harm magnetic media like Clik! Discs. Please keep this in mind while traveling by air and be prepared.

Is there such a thing as an AC adapter for a digital camera?

I've been working on a stop-motion animation project, but when I made my last movie (consisting of hundreds of still shots) I had to change the batteries constantly. I also have a digital camcorder, but It's too much work to edit out hundreds of stills from the live action. My best option is the digital camera, but I wonder if it can be hooked up to an AC adapter. Has anyone tried this?

some cameras have a/c adapters available, some don't. but it will work if yours is capable.

Magnificent Monopods

Monopods may be one of the best inventions to come along for outdoor photographers. These stick-like supports do a super job, and they can be packed and carried with ease. Monopods are light in weight, don't take up much room, and can provide a very steady platform for your camera. Don't waste your money on cheap models. Buy a good quality monopod and enjoy it.

Monopods are great for photographers who are covering sporting events, capturing photos of wildlife, or focusing in on a final sunset. A one-legged support can't give you the rock-hard steady platform that a tripod can, but it will provide more than enough support for most types of shots. The big advantage to a monopod is that it is so easy to carry with you that it will be there when you need it, and a heavy tripod may not be.

Support Sacks

You can improve many aspects of your location photography by acquiring, or making, support sacks for your camera lens. These devices are available commercially, but they are also easy to make. What is a support sack? It is basically a bag that is filled with some type of moldable material that will conform to the shape of your camera lens. The filling could be styrofoam beads, buckshot, sand, kitty litter, foam rubber, or even pine needles. Since bags that are light in weight are more enjoyable to carry, I would stay away from sand and buckshot as a filler material.

The concept behind support sacks is simple. You place the sack on a solid object, like a rock or the edge of your vehicle, and then nestle the lens of your camera into the sack. Once the lens has settled into the material, you have a very sturdy support for your camera and lens. For a sack to work, you need something stable to place it on, and you are limited by the availability of such places. Another drawback to a sack is that you cannot adjust its height.

Every type of camera support has its own strong points. Sacks are great for photographers who are shooting from their vehicles or who want a low camera angle to capture something close to the ground or floor. This type of support won't do you a lot of good at the zoo or while taking wedding pictures, but there are many times when a support sack is just the right tool for a steady picture.

Sharp Shots

You can use a variety of clamp devices to secure your camera to all sorts of stable objects. A simple C-clamp that is equipped to thread into the tripod socket of your camera body is great for occasions when you are taking pictures from your vehicle. Install the clamp on a window and mount your camera. Raise or lower the window to change the height of your camera. You can tilt and pan this type of support for more versatility. It's amazing how much help such a simple and inexpensive item like this can be.

C-clamps can be attached to tree branches, railings, windows, and all sorts of other items. However, they are limited in their size, and this can be a problem. For example, you would not be able to get a C-clamp secured on the trunk of many trees. But never fear, tree clamps are available. These clamps circle a tree and provide a very sturdy support for your camera.

When you start to shop of photography accessories, you may be amazed at how many there are. If there is something that you want to do with your camera, you can feel pretty sure that someone is selling something that will allow you to do it.

Teeny-Weeny Tripods

Tiny tripods may not seem like much of a support system, but even they have their place in good photography. I have a little tripod that has retractable legs. The entire unit has a diameter similar to that of a D-cell flashlight battery. Total length is probably about six inches, when the legs are contained. This itsy bitsy tripod works well for table-top setups and low-to-the-ground shots, but it does require me to hold it. The tripod is not sturdy enough to support a camera and lens safely on its own.

I have found another very good use for my table-top tripod. It can be used as something of a chest-pod. By extending the legs and pressing them into my chest, the little tripod makes an excellent support. The ball-and-socket swivels to put my viewfinder at eye level while the tripod extends outward from my chest. This creates a surprisingly stable shooting platform.

Gun Grips

Gun-type grips are another support option for your camera. The device I'm referring to is similar in design to the stock of a rifle or shotgun. Your camera is mounted on the device and is fired by a shutter-release that is incorporated into the system. By pulling the shoulder stock in tight to your body and supporting the extended end with one hand, it's possible to get very steady shots.

If you get caught afield without a commercial camera support, you may have to improvise. Brace your camera or lens against the trunk of a tree to stabilize it. Settle your lens between the forks of a tree or tree branch to hold it still. Use a fence to support the base of your camera. Fences, rails and posts are frequent supports for zoo photographers. If you're doing your photography indoors, a door frame will work as a make-shift support. The back of a chair can be used to steady your lens. If you take the time to look around, you are almost certain to find something that will add some stability to your camera. The few moments spent looking for such a support can mean the difference between a great picture and a blurry one.

How is a camera mounted on a tripod plate?

I am a novice. I just bought a tripod for my point and shoot camera. (My hands shake when I try to steady the camera.) The instructions with the tripod have nothing on "how to" properly mount the camera on the plate. I have done searches on the 'net. I found a video but could not see the exact position he put the plate onto the camera. What I have read seems to assume "everyone" knows the proper position. I need at least a few closeup photos -

The plate simply screws onto the tripod mount on the bottom of the camera using the attached screw. Straighten the plate with relation to the camera before giving the final, tightening turn (don't over tighten).
If you need to adjust the camera's position on the plate, slacken the screw, adjust the plate and re-tighten.

The plate then clicks in to position on the shoe fitting on the tripod and becomes part of the tripod. To remove the camera, pull the lever or press the button while supporting your camera. The exact method of fitting and release depends on the tripod make and model.

There are a few small cameras that don't have a tripod mounting hole - if this is the case then a tripod cannot be used.

Binoculars Bag

Binoculars Bag

Binoculars are the duty gear for many professionals

A tactical gear store can be a favored shopping center of all those who are part of paramilitary forces, those who are coast guards, or private security guards. But such a store will be an equally favorite haunt of all types of adventure and thrill seekers, who are forever keen on widening the frontiers of their knowledge by exploring the unexplored, and unraveling the mysteries of nature. Some common equipment that are part of the duty gear of law enforcement agencies, and are indispensable for hunters, adventurists, and sailors, are binoculars, night vision goggles, spotting scopes, and laser rangefinders. Different models of these equipments, designed to suit the requirements of different category of users, will be on hand in a tactical gear store throughout any country.

Binoculars with varying magnifying powers, and different sizes, will be available at any tactical gear store. While binoculars will be part of the duty gear of people in many professions, hunters, sailors, tourists, birdwatchers, and even butterfly watchers also avidly court it. The power of binoculars is commonly expressed by two numbers, for example, like 7x25. Here 7x is the magnification power of this important duty gear component, which means that the object that is being seen through the binoculars will appear 7 times closer than it will appear when seen with the naked eye.

When you shop for a pair of binoculars at a tactical gear store, you should check both the magnifying power, and the second number, which indicates the diameter of the objective lens of the binoculars in mm. The larger the diameter of the objective lens, the more the light that can enter the binoculars, which means that the larger the diameter of the front lens, viewing things will be easier even in dull light. With a 7x25 binocular as part of his duty gear, a security guard will be able to see a lurking danger at very close quarters. A 25mm diameter may not, however, aid much in vision if the light is dull. But if the diameter is 50mm, it will bring in a lot of light and will make things visible even in dull light.

A visit to a tactical gear store, for the right pair of binoculars, is a must for myriad categories of people before they embark on their duties. It is a must for those who are planning an African safari, for those who want to practice their sniper skills, or for sailors who want to explore the coasts where they may not disembark but only see from a distance. In one form or other, a pair of binoculars is the duty gear of all these people.

Duty Gear Store is your one-stop shop and tactical gear store for quality Police Equipment, Police Tactical Gear such as Badge Holder, Tactical Boots, Gear Bags, Gun grips, Holsters. Please visit the site for more details of police duty gear - http://www.dutygearstore.com/

Choosing a Tripod for Travel / Nature Photography

In today's camera market, you will find an endless supply of gear, some useful, some not so, some quality, and some not. This variety makes it harder to find exactly what you need, especially when you are not sure of exactly which features you need and which you can do without. A tripod is an essential part of an arsenal carried by any Travel and Nature photographer. You already know that for sharpest images you need to use a tripod. What you are wondering no doubt is why there is such a significant price range among the different manufacturers of tripods, and whether or not it makes sense for you to make a significant investment in a tripod.

Basic Function of a Tripod

First, let's quickly examine what a tripod will do for us. First and foremost, it supports our camera, attached lens, and some of the other gear, like a flash unit, etc. It helps us position our camera at an odd angle at times. It helps us get higher than our typical shooting stance, and get lower at times for macro work. The most appropriate tripod for you will depend on your shooting style, and choice of subject matter. There is not one tripod out there that is better with every subject matter; on the contrary, most tripods are specialists. Most are build to be versatile, but each is build to excel in a certain area of photography.

So, what areas should your tripod excel to be useful for outdoors shooting?

If you are planning to shoot nature, there are certain aspects of the outdoors which your tripod will have to endure, which it would not, if it was used indoors.

Moisture is an enemy of photography gear. If you plan to shoot landscapes in the wilderness, wild animals, birds, etc., your camera and you will end up in some wet environments. As such, you have to make sure that your tripod choice reflects this fact. Many manufacturers build tripods specifically meant for the outdoors, and they are built to be moisture resistant, if not proof.

Terrain is always a concern outdoors. A good tripod should have spiked feet, simply because you will often end up on loose soil, dirt, and other surfaces that will be uneven, and require sharp spikes to secure the tripod, and attached gear.

Load is a very important aspect to consider. How heavy is your camera and your heaviest lens? Are you planning on getting larger heavier lenses in the future? Are you planning to try a medium or a large format camera? While it is tough to predict, always try to plan ahead. Your choice of a tripod will reflect your future purchases. Always, make sure you tripod has at least 30% of capacity for future upgrades to your equipment. If you plan to shoot wild life, you will have some really heavy lenses, and a tripod will have to support them, and allow you to pan smoothly, when shooting animals in action.

Weight is probably the main determining factor in your purchase. Remember, when you travel and explore, you will have your tripod with you, and depending upon how much walking you do, weight of your tripod will be more or less important to you. However, always aim for highest ratio of weight to load. In other words, look for lightest tripod rated for highest weight. Outdoors are often rough environments and every pound counts. Think about this a lot.

Leveling is important especially for panoramic shooters. If you plan to capture panoramas of nature, your tripod base must be leveling. Look for a tripod with a large easy to use bubble level (spirit level). A level base is a “MUST” for good panoramas.

Flexibility of shooting positions is important when you change subject matter on the fly. If you are like me, you will shoot macro, landscapes, panoramas, and perhaps even some animals, depending on time of day and weather. If so, a flexible center column is a must feature. Look for a tripod which allows for multiple positions of the center column. My favorite tripods allow for the column to be vertical, horizontal , and everything in-between. A tripod should allow you to get low, and have more than one foot angle. Best tripods for this job will offer up to three different angles for the feet, which will allow you to get very low if need be, to shoot flowers, insects, etc.

How Much Money?

Choosing a tripod is not easy. Some manufacturers do make things easier and group them into specialties, like outdoors, studio use, etc. Do as much research as you can, because there is not one ideal model that suits everyone. Remember the old saying: “You get what you pay for”. This is very important when deciding how much you are willing pay. Keep in mind, a huge budget will not mean you get the best tripod, but it will mean that you have more choices. Do not look for a cheap tripod, which you think may suffice. Your shooting requirements will change, and within a year or two you will be shopping for another one. Strongly consider Carbon Fiber. CF tripods are lighter than any alloy, more durable, will not bend, and flex under the weight of your gear, and do not rust, corrode, or are adversely affected by moisture. They are more expensive, but without a doubt worth the extra money. Look at this purchase as a long-term investment in photography. After all, your images will only be as good as your shooting ability and your gear.

Which tripod to get the Bogen Manfrotto 3011 (B)N or 3021 (B)N?

I want to be able to use the legs separately at different angles but the 3011 (B)N doesn't do that.. Does that really matter? Should I spend the extra $50 (3021) so that the legs can spread out at different angles plus the minimum height of 3'' ?
I do like the fact that the 3011 and 3021 support 13.2 lbs. I have a Nikon D70 with kit lens and sb600 flash and maybe I'll buy another lens soon but some thoughts would be greatly appreciated on the tripod factor...
3021 minimum height 3.1 inches

It's a personal call. For me, the extra flexibility and build quality wouldn't be worth the additional $40. This might be a leading brand, but they're both budget tripods. As for your two concers:
You can adjust the angle of the camera by varying the angle of the 3 legs, the extension of the 3 legs, or by tilting the head. So long as the tripod continues to offer stability, who cares?
As for the minimum height, why not flip the central column up side down and lower the camera all the way to the ground? You CAN reverse the central column, you know. Why limit yourself to 3 inches off the ground plus the height of the head (sold separately)?
I personally don't have much use for a tripod, so I went with a Slik Sprint Pro. This nicely met MY criteria:
* Reaches eye level, fully extended
* Fits in an Eastpak backpack, fully folded
* Holds the weight of a D200 + 70-200mm (just barely)
* Good build quality for its weight.
* Cheap. Just 80 bucks. And that's WITH the retractable spikes and a ballhead.

Acri.LISA(R) Lens - a Visionary Surgical Advancement from Carl Zeiss - Revolutionizes existing technology

Acri.LISA(R) Lens - a Visionary Surgical Advancement from Carl Zeiss - Revolutionizes existing technology

Multifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) are the most exciting advance in cataract and presbyopia corrective surgery in 25 years; meeting the expectations of a growing population striving for an active life with minimal or no support from eye glasses.

The mission over the years has been to provide a surgical application for multifocal vision correction. Patients wanted to improve their quality of life and surgeons wanted a product with a predictability of vision results and high patient satisfaction.

Dr. Christoph Kranemann, a leader in ophthalmology, laser eye surgery and complex cataract and glaucoma surgery, was the first surgeon in Canada to provide a new remarkable surgical solution. "I chose the Acri.LISA(R) lens because by design it is least likely to give patients any undesirable side effects. Comparatively it has been a challenge to give people a quick and good intermediate vision by using the same lens in both eyes."

Dr. Kranemann's first patient was Hannelore, a 63 year old woman. She had worn glasses since adolescence, but since her early 50's was having a rapid decline in her vision. Hannelore explained, "I was constantly needing new eye glasses because my eyesight was changing every few months, and to make matters worse, each eye needed a different correction. It was not unusual for me to carry several pairs of glasses for different tasks such as reading - which was often fuzzy, walking, using the computer and driving. Night-time driving was not possible and I was restricted in my normal activities, always trying to maintain my ability to see." Hannelore's condition is not that uncommon and the Acri.LISA(R) lens was designed to allow patients to see close-up, distant and in-between without relying on a collection of eye glasses. Hannelore recalled, "I had my first eye operated on Oct.2nd, 2008. I was very anxious, yet very hopeful. To my amazement I could see more clearly immediately, right after the surgery and by the following day I could see things I never could before."

Dr. Kranemann, pleased with the results, observed that there were "No negative symptoms post-op". He performed the second surgery the same month on Oct. 30th 2008. He detailed, "There are limitations with other technologies, including halos and glares - particularly in the first six months, compounding a challenge for a mix and match system lens to address near, distance and intermediate vision." Hannelore was thrilled. "It was a miracle and even though both of my eyes had different vision issues, now I don't need to wear any glasses at all. I can even see to pluck my eyebrows. My life has totally changed. I feel independent. I can even drive at night."

Dr. Kranemann stated, "the most significant difference post-op was true ecstatic patient responses and they have reported absolutely no negative symptoms whatsoever. I look forward to using this product more frequently and I feel that the Acri.LISA(R) lens is certainly very promising." Dr. Kranemann will continue to obtain long-term data to collaborate his initial results and plans to present his findings on the Acri.LISA(R) lens to his peers at various upcoming meetings of the Ophthalmology Societies. What is the value of Carl Zeiss Jena Binoculars DF6x30 859832?

I am trying to hold on to these binoculars until they are worth some money, and so far I think they may be only worth $10.00
They come in a leather case from the U.S. Naval Gun Factory / Optical Annex Shop in Rochester , NY. They are extremely old binoculars.

check e-bay. Maybe antique value is there.

They are far too weak to be used for astronomy so no one here will have a good answer for you.

Using On-Board Cameras For Track Days

Track days are becoming increasingly popular both for people wanting to experience high speed motoring in top of the range cars or simply for others wanting to push their own bikes and cars to the limit in a 'safe' environment. No extreme motoring experience would be complete without a DVD to demonstrate your Lewis Hamilton-like skills to family and friends. If this is a must-have for you it is worth checking out what is on offer at your track of choice before the day itself. Some tracks will allow you to take your own on board or helmet camera, others will allow you to film providing you sign a disclaimer and some have an absolute ban.  There are four main scenarios:

Someone at the track may already be on hand to offer their services to provide you with a camera set up to film your experience. This service generally includes mounting the camera, handling all the filming and burning the video to a DVD.  You should expect to pay between £25-£35 for this type of package.

The second and popular option is to take your own helmet camera with you. Most of the regular tracks around the country are perfectly happy for people to use a helmet camera or on-board camera but they will check to ensure that the mounting of the camera is secure.

Thirdly, the higher profile tracks such as Silverstone or Brands Hatch will require you to sign a disclaimer promising that the footage is for private use only and won’t be uploaded to the web.  At these tracks you’ll also need to have the permission of the race officials to take the camera out and again they will want to check that it is mounted securely.

A handful of tracks are completely against having any in-car, on-board, or helmet mounted action cameras out on their tracks. Unfortunately this includes the legendary Nürburgring where they will give you a life time ban if they catch you trying to sneak a camera onto the track.

Choosing a camera

If you are going to be enjoying track days fairly often or if you would also use the camera out on the road or for various other sports, then it may be more cost effective to buy your own. A starter camera retails from just £99 and for £299 you’ll be able to get a top spec, HD action cam. The most popular cameras and the best for filming track days and other motorsports are on board cameras.

Mounting

There are various ways to mount an action camera to optimise results, dependent on both an individual's preferences and the specific sport.  Within the field of motorsports, correct mounting of the camera is a vital consideration as track day officials won’t allow an action camera which isn’t mounted securely. Whilst industrial strength adhesive has been tested at huge speeds, that simply won't cut it with officials. You’ll need to have a purpose built camera mount which either fits around or clamps onto your handle bar or forks. Panavise suction mounts are also acceptable on most tracks which is good news as the suction mount lets you position the action camera on to your helmet, the bikes tank, the outside or inside of your car or pretty much anywhere else where you can find a smooth surface.

Each track and race day official will have its own views on the best and safest way to use in-car, on-car, on-board, or helmet mounted action cameras to film your race day. You can rent them at the track or bring your own, in which case you need to be sure to have a secure mount so that you’ll be able to take it onto the track to capture your experience.

Need a camera to mount outside day/night to catch a neighbor damaging my property?

I'm not sure what to ask for, but a neighbor is sneaking over and killing my shrubbery, plants, etc. from about 200 feet away to my front porch. I'd like to catch her in action and prosecute. I'm not very technical and not sure what to ask for. Don't want to spend over $100. Any other suggestions? Thank you.

Staples has an indoor or outdoor day/night camera that conects to your pc for $89.
I had a neighbor stealing my cans from my yard and I set up a camera and caught him with a total closeup carrying a big box of cans right in front of the camera in my yard. It was swweet.
Great feeling to nab the bad guys.Expecially when that is all you can do to people who don't respect your stuff.

Spend the money. It is such a great feeling to get them on film, and they get so freakede out that you have them, I told the kids dad I had him on film stealing from my yard and they moved within two weeks.

Get a Binoculars Camera Discount for Bird Watching Binoculars

Binoculars have many different uses. Binoculars are used for hobbies, work, military, and even law enforcement  purposes. Almost everyone has seen a pair of binoculars whether on television or in person. When thinking about hobbies that involves binoculars bird watching is probably the first thing that comes to mind. Watching a bird soar through the air using a pair of binoculars can be a thrilling experience. This gives you a first hand look at nature at work. Scientists have used this method a long time now to study bird behaviors not only birds but other animal behaviors as well. From a distance scientists have a chance to observe animals without disturbing their natural behavior.

Before buying a bird watcher binoculars you should research the best binoculars for your budget. While not all binoculars are expensive with a decent budget you can consider extra features that might make the experience even more pleasurable. All binoculars are classified by a power level or magnification specification. The higher the number the larger the distant image will appear. However the higher the magnification the harder it will be to hold the binoculars steady. Anyone new to binoculars is better off with a magnification lower than 10x. Tripods are a cheap fix but also make the binoculars less portable. A more expensive solution is image-stabilizing binoculars. These types of binoculars are built to keep the image steady but also make the binoculars heavier.

Weatherproofing and armoring are a good idea which protect the binoculars making them last longer. Weatherproofing falls into three categories none, showerproof, waterproof, and nitrogen purged. Nitrogen purged waterproofing is the best choice for bird watchers. Nitrogen purging always keeps out dust and sand. Armoring is good for all binoculars regardless of use. Armoring provides shock resistance. No matter how careful we are some times we get a little clumsy. Dropping your binoculars is a scary thought with armoring it isn't nearly as bad. Both are a very good idea if you happen to purchase a very expensive pair of binoculars. It would be a shame to drop and destroy your binoculars on your first bird watching trip.

Binoculars with cameras can sometimes be found at discount prices. The camera will take pictures of everything you see through the binoculars. Some even allow the possibility of videos. With cameras you could print out the images at home or send them to a fellow bird watcher. Extra memory is a good ideas if you plan on saving a lot of pictures or videos. Well by now you should know all there is to know about binoculars and bird watchers. One final rule: Have fun!

I am looking to buy some binoculars with a built-in digital camera. Are they any good? Anyone out there who have used them wanna tell us what you think of them? thanx

Seen em at the local Sharper Image/Brookstone and they dont seem to be much better than a camera with a decent zoom lens... Not sure how much the bino-camera costs, but you may want to check out a good camera instead...

Check Out the Wide Range of Custom Covers

Buick custom car cover and seat covers are designed to cover your car and keep out your car from common damages like dust, mud etc. Covers4Auto gives a very good look to your buick and customized design that best fit to your buick.

As one of the prime race horses that come galloping out of the celebrated General Motors Stable, the Buick is perhaps the champion of champions that have created legend in luxury for more than a couple of decades. In terms of looks and likes; coupled with power and performance, few American cars can outmaneuver the Buick. But the contemporary Buick has suffered the same fate as other marque of current sedans, convertibles and SUVs. Its wide-angled, larger than life, super slanted windscreens, while offering the occupants panoramic view of the outer world, has also induced intense sunrays into the lush interior of the vehicle in no uncertain manner. The burst of sunlight on the leather upholstery and the fine tufted floorboard carpet works overtime in affecting the lifespan of these luxury items, while every passing sun-filled day drains out the oily substance in the Buick’s comfortable leather seats, turning them lifeless in no time at all. Besides, there are dirt and dust, rain and sleet and many other natural and man-made modes of destruction that continually work at spoiling the beauty of the dazzling car. Even the birds do not spare the Buick from their acidic droppings that simply refuse to go however hard you may try to get rid of them.

When General Motors had created Buick marque of luxury vehicles, they had made sure that the vehicle’s seats should provide best comfort to the occupants. However, they had probably underestimated their customers’ predicament when vehicle use rose to appreciable heights. In other words, while the Buick’s engine and suspension remained beyond suspicion, its seat covers showed signs of decay, needing replacement or additional protection. Coverking, the legendary southern California based car covers and seat covers, however, had risen to the occasion by producing Custom seat covers for Buick that are exact replicas of those made by GM.
