After a lull of 5 years (almost as long as the original mission was to run), Star Trek fans have something new to look forward to: Star Trek XI, the new movie which lands in theaters on May 8th, 2009.

It's also been a long wait since the last Trek movie (Star Trek: Nemesis) was produced back in 2002.
