Top Films for High definition Disc

Now that the Blu-ray has come on the market, a significant query confronts dvd lovers, wholesale dvd sellers, reviewers everybody who cares about moving pictures. Because the Blu-ray is a HD item, the visual images it shows are superior to the older dvd style. Yet not every ordinary movie is suited to high definition, is that not so? So the question is: which films merit being immortalized by being converted to Blu-ray. Here are just four preliminary selections, drawn from dvd wholesalers’ best seller ranks, personal choices and historic merit.

Star Trek. Absolutely, Star Trek should get hd treatment. Actually, the original six of the moving picturesare already available from wholesale dvd sites and in stores. This one prevails on two bases: the photography are stunning, even in the older movies, and the place of Star Trek among the cult favorites of all time earns it its status.

The classic: Gone with the Wind. Don’t complain. Sure, it is ancient and dvd wholesalers likely hardly ever sell many discs of this motion picture. But it is a queen of the classics, with a scale and scenery that at its time were nothing less than astonishing. Morphed to new hi def, the scenes like the devastation of Atlanta are incomparable.

2001: A Space Odyssey. Seriously, you cannot actually surpass this last century picture at innovation and incredible camera work. The universe never looked so amazing as in this film and the hi def dvd has become a top seller for dvd wholesale and retail sellers. You should go purchase it from your top dvd wholesaler.

Sleeping Beauty, the 50th Anniversary. Okay, we had to have something for children, with a milder approach but images just as rich and lovely as any. This show is still an adventure and the trials and tribulations of the hero are as fun to kid’s tastes as any action movie made. The precision of the Disney animation really shows through in the hd version of this precious old chestnut.
