5 Apr 2007 at 12:00am Episode-2.movLearningMeasure.tv 23 min - 2007-04-05Here is the long awaited episode -2. Sorry for the delay. First we found out the iTunes feed was not working correctly, we had to fix that. Then there were problems with the new episode itself. Finally, in the midst of rendering the episode, I had a hard drive crash, had to rebuild my machine and re-edit the episode.
This episode is about noise measurement, and applications of noise measurement to radio astronomy. This is the first of a two-part story on noise measurements and radio astronomy. I hope you like it. We will try to get the second part of this done within a week.
Most of the details of noise measurement described in this episode can be found in our course
MEAS403 - Basic RF and Microwave Noise Measurement
Where many of the details of noise measurement systems not covered in the podcast can be found.
