Spectra: Low-resolution spectra taken by H. Koberger, Vilaflor, Tenerife, and W. Vollmann, Vienna, Austria, on Apr.
27.199, and by H. Maehara, Kwasan Observatory, Kyoto University, Japan, on Apr. 29.704 UT, confirm a classical nova. Maehara's spectrum has been posted at the following website URL: http://www.kwasan.kyoto-u.ac.jp/~maehara/novae/SCOnova2010no2_20100429.png.

A low-resolution spectrum by K. Kinugasa, H. Takahashi, and O. Hashimoto, Gunma Astronomical Observatory, China, suggests a He/N nova in decline; it is posted at http://tinyurl.com/37r6yhj.
