Located at the "top of the moon," the Sea Of Cold ("Mare Frigoris" in Latin) is the northern-most of all lunar properties. With the magnificent Crater Aristoteles just to the south and massive Crater Plato and the Lunar Alps to the west, this property combines highly-sought flat terrain with stunning vistas. Despite its foreboding name (the Sea Of Cold is actually no colder or warmer than any other lunar location), properties in the Sea Of Cold offer excellent value and a favorable location, with parcels priced under $20 per acre>.
The Moon's North Pole region is covered in this photograph, which includes the area north of Mare Frigoris as well as the extreme northern section of Mare Imbrium. Just below left center is the distinctive Crater Plato, with equally interesting Crater Aristoteles farther to the east.
